About Technische Universität Ilmenau

The TU Ilmenau is the only University of Technology in Thuringia offering study programs in fields of technologies and engineering, sciences, economics and media. For several years, there have been many collaborations with multiple Fraunhofer institutes. Previous researches and the international academical network of TU Ilmenau are of strategic importance for the SigMaSense group.

About Fraunhofer IZFP and Fraunhofer ATTRACT

As an internationally renowned R&D center for nondestructive testing methods (NDT) Fraunhofer IZFP does research and development work for nondestructive monitoring in the field of materials, component, and product characterization. The institute develops industrial-grade high-performance system solutions to prototype and series maturity. Complex Sensors technology accumulate with highly developed and closely interacting microelectronics massive amount of data (multiple terabytes of big sensor data). The SigMaSense group provides a so far non-existent degree of innovation in integrated sensor systems for more efficient signal acquisition and thus, corresponds strategically, with funding of the Fraunhofer ATTRACT program, to the IZFP.
