University Library
The Leibniz Building houses the University Library, which is the largest technical library with about 600,000 books, sound recordings and 1,500 current periodicals in Thuringia.
After reconstruction and reopening in 2010, an additional floor with state-of-the-art technology is available for research, database access, and interlibrary loan.
In addition to the main library, there are also PATON - the State Patent Centre of Thuringia - and the Senate Hall of the university.
